Sjors Cheeseslicer quiets Wilderland bats with shutout
OLD FOREST - Sjors Cheeseslicer took the mound on August 2 and never left. And Wilderland hitters couldn't touch him at all. Old Forest's right-hander gave up just 2 hits in his 2nd shutout of the season. He now has 3 career shutouts in 130 games started. With two outs in the 7th inning Gandaugrin Gamaiborn doubled to break up the no-hitter. 'Well, the ball went where I wanted it. I was able to hit the corners with all of my pitches.' Cheeseslicer (9-7) struck out 9 and walked none, throwing 62 of 106 pitches for strikes. Lumth Elváril helped Cheeseslicer at the plate, he stroked 1 hit in 3 AB. Old Forest scored 1 run on 5 hits.
