Parin Saphirecryer quiets Weathertop bats with shutout

DAGORLAD - Parin Saphirecryer had his best stuff going on August 13, and Weathertop hitters were chanceless. Dagorlad's left-hander fired a 1-hitter, his 2nd shutout of the season. Saphirecryer (14-5) struck out 9 and walked 2, throwing 63 of 110 pitches for strikes. 'Things like that happen. You take the mound and everything works. My velocity was pretty good today and I guess it showed.' Isembard Ploughman helped Saphirecryer at the plate, he finished with 3 hits in 4 AB. The final score of the game was 1-0.
