Gimli Cloudskin pitches his 1st shutout of the season

LOTHLORIEN - Lothlorien's right-hander Gimli Cloudskin is a great pitcher. And on August 21 he once again showed his stuff, blanking Dead Marshes on just one hit. It's his 1st shutout this season, and the 3rd time he has done it in his career. The bid for a no-hitter was broken up when Mauhur *the Looter singled with no outs in the 7th inning. Cloudskin (12-5) struck out an astounding 13 and walked 1, throwing 65 of 101 pitches for strikes. 'Hey, that's my job! Everytime I take the mound I give the best I can. And my best stuff was too much for them today.' The hitting star for Lothlorien was centerfielder Grumpus *the Grumpest, he got 1 hit in 2 AB, stroking a double, scoring 2 runs. Lothlorien scored 3 runs on 5 hits.
