Season ending injury strikes Mirkwood's Bloodytooth

MIRKWOOD - Mirkwood's right-hander Rundin Bloodytooth will not pitch again this year, suffering a serious injury in the game against Moria on September 9. After being taken to a local hospital, Bloodytooth was examined by specialists. The diagnosis revealed the sad truth, a Torn Rotator Cuff Muscle. Opposing players hit .261 against Rundin this season. While posting an ERA of 3.69 he went 14-7 in 30 starts, fanning 183 and walking 54 hitters. He has 2 complete games and one shutout. He's 8th in the Shire Conference in wins!
