Gimli Cloudskin turns in great performance against Isengard

ISENGARD - Gimli Cloudskin took the mound and never left...until he broke his elbow on the last pitch of a brilliant 2-hit shutout! Isengard hitters couldn't touch him at all. Lothlorien's right-hander gave up just 2 hits in his 2nd shutout of the season. He now has 5 career shutouts in 261 games started. Cloudskin (2-1) struck out an astounding 13 and walked 1, throwing 76 of 118 pitches for strikes. 'Pitching a great game is always a good thing. And it doesn't get much better than today.' The hitting star for Lothlorien was shortstop Fastolph Hornblower, he finished 2 for 4, blasting a homerun, hitting a double. Lothlorien improved its record to 9-7, scoring 4 runs on 10 hits.
