Fabur Beardcutter shuts out Minas Ithil on one hit

OLD FOREST - Fabur Beardcutter took the mound on May 27 and never left. And Minas Ithil hitters couldn't touch him at all. Old Forest's right-hander gave up just one hit in his 1st shutout of the season. He now has 3 career shutouts in 317 games started. Beardcutter (6-3) struck out 7 and walked none, throwing 67 of 102 pitches for strikes. 'Wow, what a nice day. I guess I had a good breakfast today.' Tina Legàl helped Beardcutter at the plate, he finished with 3 hits in 4 AB, stroking two 2B's, and collecting 4 RBI. Old Forest scored 9 runs on 13 hits.
