Pitcher of the Month award winners announced

Minas Ithil's pitcher Floror Eärilmarion is the Shire Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in May. He struck out 22 hitters in his 5 starts, putting together a record of 4-0 while pitching 22 innings. His ERA in May was 0.97. Opposing players hit .230 against Floror this season. While posting an ERA of 3.25 he went 5-3 in 11 starts, fanning 58 and walking 21 hitters. Lothlorien's Garadorn Evermind had a terrific May, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. He started 6 games in May, going 6-0 and compiling an ERA of 2.20 in 45 innings. Garadorn fanned 43 hitters. Garadorn also fired a shutout. His ERA of 3.51 helped him to a 7-2 record this year. He struck out 65 and walked 32 in 74.1 innings. Garadorn has pitched one shutout and one complete game. He's 1st in the Mordor Conference in wins!
