Old Forest, Minas Ithil make deal

OLD FOREST - The Merry Fellows announced a deal with Minas Ithil today that would send Tina Legàl, Sauron the Evil, Jr., and their 2nd round draft pick to the Wyrms for Sifur Silvermaster.

Silvermaster, 30, is a power-hitting infielder and 2010 All-Star. He was Lake Town's 1st pick in the 2004 draft and came to Minas Ithil in the deal that sent Hall of Famer Arweogast Belaraviel to the Archers. He doesn't hit much for average, but he is consistently among the league leaders in HR. So far this season, he is hitting .237 with 19 HR and 41 RBI.

Legàl, 27, is a 2-time All-Star who hits for power and average, though her power numbers are down this year. She was a key member of the 2010 Minas Morgul team that won the Return of the King Series. She is hitting .305 with 3 HR and 28 RBI. Meanwhile, "Lil Evil Eye" is a promising relief pitcher who helped Old Forest to the league championship trophy in 2009.
