Bucklebury trade with Old Forest

OLD FOREST - The Merry Fellows announced another deal today involving the Bucklebury Fairies. The Fairies, looking to restock their minors, are getting Till Silentmallet, a 21-year-old 1B prospect from Old Forest in exchange for Gamaithor Elylith, Boriam Celebrin and $5 million in cash.

"Air" Elylith, 28, returns to Old Forest where he played for 8 seasons before being traded to Minas Tirith for Grimli Goramir. Despite his solid skills at 3B and steady HR numbers, his batting average is a dismal .201. Meanwhile, "Doc" Celebrin, 29, also returns to the scene of his glory years for the first time since being claimed off waivers by Bucklebury in 2010. Celebrin still holds the record for strikeouts in a single season, 414, and has 1763 K's overall. He has fallen out of favor as a starting pitcher and has been spending most of his time in the bullpen since 2009.
