Parin Saphirecryer shuts out Dead Marshes on one hit

DEAD MARSHES - Good things can happen when you throw strikes. And Parin Saphirecryer did so on July 1, in a 1-hit shutout against Dead Marshes. Saphirecryer (8-2) struck out 7 and walked 2, throwing 63 of 105 pitches for strikes. 'I was hitting my spots. Now I'll start concentrating on my next start, and hopefully it will work again.' Dagorlad's shortstop Marus *Alu finished with 3 hits in 6 AB, stroking two 2B's, scoring three times with 2 RBI. That was enough to support the brilliant performance of Saphirecryer. Dagorlad scored 10 runs on 13 hits.
