Old Forest's Megilwen severely injured, out for season
OLD FOREST - Old Forest's right-hander Eralqua Megilwen experienced probably the worst case scenario for a pitcher, a season ending injury. After pitching in the 5th inning of the game against Dol Guldur on July 15, Megilwen complained about serious pain in his throwing arm. He had to leave the game. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Torn Bicep Muscle. Surgery will be performed next week. Opposing players hit .230 against Eralqua this season. While posting an ERA of 3.62 he went 7-3 in 12 starts, fanning 70 and walking 12 hitters.
