Spinner (BYW) and Chubb (MIN) win P.O.W. award

It's the 1st time that the Shire Conference Player of the Week award goes to Bywater's pitcher Bugrin Spinner. Bugrin went 2-0 with an ERA of 0.00, while fanning 16 in 15 innings of work. He hurled a shutout as well. His ERA of 4.35 helped him to a 8-11 record this year. He struck out 146 and walked 59 in 136.2 innings. Bugrin has pitched one shutout and 2 complete games. Tanta Chubb wins her 6th Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire her all week long. In 18 at bats she hit .500 with 3 HR and 10 RBI. Tanta has gone 98 for 334 (.293) this season, hitting 23 homeruns and driving in 67 runs. She has scored 67 runs on her own. She's 8th in the Mordor Conference in RBIs and 6th in homeruns!
