Minas Tirith's Strongbow wins Player of the Week award

The Player of the Week award in the Shire Conference goes to Minas Tirith's Sugnus Strongbow this time, as the first baseman displayed the best offensive perfomance in his league. Sugnus went 17 for 27 (.630), while hitting 1 HR and collecting 12 RBI. Sugnus is hitting .377 this year, with 29 hits in 77 at bats. He has driven in 20 runs, slugging .623. Shamina Gil-Gawen wins her 2nd Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this gal all week long. Shamina went 15 for 28 (.536), while hitting 2 HR and collecting 9 RBI. While compiling an on base percentage of .398, Shamina hit .321 and slugged .555. She has collected 67 runs batted in this year. She's 7th in the Mordor Conference in batting!
