Yvestil Ala'Niel shuts out Rivendell on one hit
OLD FOREST - Old Forest's left-hander Yvestil Ala'Niel is a great pitcher. And on August 8 she once again showed her stuff, blanking Rivendell on just one hit. It's her 3rd shutout this season, and the 3rd time she has done it in her career. 'I had my stuff going. Everything I tried worked. What a day!' Ala'Niel (11-3) struck out 8 and issued 1 BB, throwing 61 of 100 pitches for strikes. Alrond *Hubbard helped Ala'Niel at the plate, he finished 2 for 4, hitting two dingers, scoring two runs and collecting 3 RBI. Old Forest improved its record to 71-43, scoring 5 runs on 12 hits.
