Shinsnapper and Boreborn receive Pitcher of the Month award

Bree's pitcher Torg Shinsnapper is the Shire Conference winner of the Pitcher of the Month award in August. He went 3-0 in August and finished the month with an ERA of 1.29. He struck out 26 in 42 innings. Torg pitched a shutout as well. In 28 starts this year Torg struck out 162 batters in 204.1 innings of work. His ERA is 3.13, his record 12-11. Torg has pitched 2 shutouts and 6 complete games. Boriagol Boreborn pitched like a legend in August, and the Mordor Conference named him Pitcher of the Month for his extraordinary performance. He had an ERA of just 0.63 in 28.2 innings of work in which he struck out 30 hitters. His record in August is 3-1. This season Boreborn compiled an ERA of 4.09, going 6-3 in 10 starts. He fanned 80 while giving up 97 hits in 101.1 innings.
