Player of the Week honors go to Faromli and the Nasty

The Shire Conference's best player of the week was Mirkwood's Galaigast Faromli, who wins the award for the 4th time in his career. Galaigast went 12 for 25 (.480), while hitting 3 HR and collecting 11 RBI. He got at least one hit each game this week and is on a 12 game hitting streak right now. Firbal the Nasty wins his 3rd Player of the Week award. Mordor Conference pitchers couldn't figure out how to retire this guy all week long. He hit .423 with 9 RBI and slugged 1.000 in 26 at bats. He now has homered in 3 consecutive games as well! This year the Nasty drove in 113 and scored 91 runs while batting .309 with 36 longballs. He's 2nd in the Mordor Conference in RBIs and 5th in homeruns!
