Mirkwood's Brilhirion severely injured

MIRKWOOD - Mirkwood is without its ace Hallalonn Brilhirion for at least 5 weeks. He injured himself while throwing a pitch to Loopy *Squishmasher in a game against Rivendell on September 22. His face showed signs of pain immediately after the ball left his hand. After x-rays were taken the diagnosis did not surprise many: Strained Elbow Ligament. Surgery will be performed next week. This season Brilhirion compiled an ERA of 1.94, going 22-7 in 35 starts. He fanned 265 while giving up 203 hits in 277.2 innings. He has 9 complete games and 2 shutouts. He's 1st in the Shire Conference in ERA and 1st in wins!
