Pitcher of the Month award winners announced

Sjors Cheeseslicer couldn't have pitched much better than he did in September, and the Shire Conference thought so as well, naming the right-hander Pitcher of the Month. His record of 5-0 in 6 was among the leagues best this month. In 45.2 innings of work he allowed just 43 hits while striking out 35, compiling an ERA of just 1.97. Sjors pitched a shutout as well. This season Cheeseslicer compiled an ERA of 3.04, going 20-12 in 36 starts. He fanned 283 while giving up 243 hits in 281.1 innings. Sjors has pitched 2 shutouts and 8 complete games. He's 7th in the Shire Conference in ERA and 3rd in wins! Dol Guldur's Vincent Rogers had a terrific September, and it earned him the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the month award. He struck out 36 hitters in his 6 starts, putting together a record of 4-0 while pitching 36 innings. His ERA in September was 0.81. This season Rogers compiled an ERA of 3.26, going 18-12 in 37 starts. He fanned 167 while giving up 239 hits in 245.2 innings. He has one complete game and one shutout. He's 4th in the Mordor Conference in wins!
