Grailas bags 150th career win

MISTY MOUNTAIN - The hometown crowd at the Gap of Rohan Park at Caradhras were treated to a rarity on September 19th, as ace hurler Gwomer Grailas nailed his 150th career win in a 3-0 win over the Dagorlad Disaster. Grailas went seven innings in his victory, allowing only three hits while striking out five.
The win boosted Grailas's season total to 18-12, with a 2.32 ERA. Unfortunately for the Hops, Grailas was injured four days later in his next game against Dunharrow, removing him from the line-up for the harrowing final week of the season. The Hops remain one game behind the resurgent Uruk-Hai in a battle for the division honors in the always hotly-contested Orc Division, and are two games ahead of Minas Morgul in the wildcard race.
Having also lost Marigold Aenoa and Bagwurz Bloodaxe to season-ending injuries in the past two weeks, the Hops will have to dig deep and come up with enormous games against Dead Marshes and the Grey Havens Stars if they wish to take the division crown.
Make sure to come down to the ballpark early for the final four games of the season against the Stars, as they're sure to sell out!
