Old Forest cruises to 1st division title

OLD FOREST - The Old Forest Merry Fellows came out of the gate swinging and never looked back. They easily took their first Elf Division title, 13.5 games ahead of the Mirkwood Marauders. Mirkwood won the last 4 and 6 out of the last 7 division races. The Old Forest crew was the only team this season to win 100 games. This will be the Merry Fellows' third trip to the playoffs. They were the Shire Wild Card in 2006, losing in the first round to Mirkwood* and going all the way to becoming League Champions in 2009.

*This was prior to the rule about the wild card not playing their own division winner in the first round.
