Archers win Hobbit title again

LAKE TOWN - For the 8th straight season, the Lake Town Archers have won the Hobbit Division. This is the closest the race has been since 2010 when Bywater finished 3 games back. Minas Ithil's new owner, Adunaphel (the likely winner of this year's Elrond Manager Award), fought the Archers down to the final week, but a 4-game sweep by Wilderland put the Wyrms' playoff plans on hold for another season.

Lake Town has not had much playoff success of late. They have been defeated in the Fellowship Series the last 4 years after making it to the Two Towers Series the previous 3 seasons.
