Rivendell hires new General Manager

RIVENDELL - The Rivendell Royals today announce the appointment of Elrohir as General Manager. Though he is a new face on the SGCBL scene, the Club and the fans have high expectations after a string of disappointing seasons. Elrohir released a short statement:

"I'd like to thank Rivendell for the confidence in me that they've shown by giving me this opportunity. I see a lot of promise in this ballclub and I think with a few moves the playoffs aren't too far out of reach next season. We'll do our best to restore the fans faith and bring exciting baseball back to Rivendell. I'd like to thank my fellow GMs and owners for the warm welcome they've extended to me."

Royals fans are optimistic about an active offseason following the SGCBL playoffs.
