2012 Elrond Managers

The Elrond Manager of the Year awards were given out at a ceremony today. Winning the award in the Shire Conference is Kigush Eyeslobberer of Old Forest. He piloted his team to 1st place in the Elf Division and on to the Shire Conference Championship and the Return of the King Series. His 101-61 record is a 15 game improvement over 2011. This is the 2nd time Eyeslobberer has won the award. In 2009, he won it when he piloted the team to the Wild Card berth. Kigush had stiff competition this season from Minas Ithil's new manager, Adunaphel, as he took the Wyrms to their 2nd best showing ever. He had the team in a battle for the Hobbit Division down to the wire.

In Mordor it was no contest, as Dagorlad's Jeff Limke wins the award for the first time. He took the Disaster to the playoffs for the first time since 2004, winning the Mordor Wild Card after losing a 1-game playoff at the end of the regular season. He continued on to win the Mordor Conference title and ultimately become the 2012 SGCBL champs.
