Slayers-Royals Trade

RIVENDELL - Wasting no time at rebuilding the Royals, new GM Elrohir has struck a deal with the Slayers to bring Relin "The Rock" Rockmaster to Rivendell. The Royals traded their 1st round draft pick and a promising minor leaguer to Minas Morgul in exchange for Rockmaster and the Slayers' 1st and 2nd picks.

Rockmaster, 29, is a veteran of 9 seasons. He was the 1st round pick of the Dunharrow Devils in 2004, quickly joining the major league ranks. In 2009, he was traded to Old Forest, where he was a key component of the Merry Fellows' league championship team, winning the Bilbo Playoff MVP.

Rivendell sends Fuli "Strongly Built" Green to Minas Morgul. Green, 20, was the Royals' 1st round pick in 2010. He hit ..301 last season at AAA Golden Wood, despite spending a significant part of the season on the DL.
