"The Claw" headed for Dead Marshes
DEAD MARSHES - The Uruk-hai announced a deal with Bree that will make Kobur Hammermaker a member of the Dead Marshes team. The Cheese star shortstop will be headed to the Mordor Conference for the first time in his career. In exchange for Hammermaker, Bree receives the next two 1st round draft choices of the Uruk-hai.
Hammermaker, 32, is a future Hall of Famer. Selected as Lonely Mountain's 2nd pick in 2003, he quickly became one of the greatest shortstops in history and won the Legolas Fielder award that year. A 3-time All-Star, Kobur is also the winner of the Shadowfax Stolen Base award 3 times and is the all-time leader in steals with 589. His career average is .293 with 129 HR and 726 RBI.
