Rohan Team Moves To Ravenhill!

ROHAN - Fans of the Roughriders were stunned this morning with news that their team had packed up in the middle of the night and moved out. The Rohan Roughriders offices at Helm's Deep were practically empty, with only a harried PR person left behind to handle the crush of inquiries.

Apparently, team owner and GM, Jools, decided to transfer the team at the last minute to the new owner of the Carrock franchise, Papa Bear. Within hours, the team was loaded into a caravan and began the trek to is new home, Ravenhill, near Erebor, the Lonely Mountain. Unveiling a new logo, the Ravenhill Darkwings announced its presence to the dwarves and men of the area and set about the work of re-fashioning the team. Since league rules prohibit someone from owning more than one team, Papa Bear relinquished his stake in the Carrock team. For now, it returns to the nominal control of previous owner, Satan.

Meanwhile, the fate of Jools is unknown. Rumors have been swirling for months that he had been having secret meetings in the depths of Khazad-dûm with Moria officials. There has been no official word, yet, from Brandelion or Miner team manager, Febrys of the Depths. However, it has been circulated that Jools will take over as the General Manager of the Moria Miners.
