Bree signs starter
BREE - The Cheese went after free agent hurler, Gollogrin Gaum, with a big check and snared the 36-year-old hurler with a 2-year, $15 million deal. Gaum, 36, had been a fixture of the Numenor staff since joining the team in 2003. Over the years, he has amassed a 123-82 lifetime record with a 3.55 ERA and 1557 strikeouts.
