Spinner signs with Wargs

WILDERLAND - One of the biggest prizes in the free agent pool, pitcher Bugrin Spinner, has signed a big contract to play in Wilderland. The Wargs signed the 30-year-old right-hander to a $100 million contract over the next 4 seasons. At $25 million per year, Spinner is now the 3rd highest paid pitcher behind Misty Mountain's Gwomer Grailas ($28.75 million) and Rivendell's Fabur Beardcutter ($30 million).

At 75-83, Spinner's lifetime record is not terribly impressive, owing to a poor start, including a 8-21 season in 2008. However, he has developed into a strong starter, going 21-7 with a 2.76 ERA for Bywater in 2010. He is also piling up the strikeouts, accumulating almost 1200 in just 6 seasons.
