Uruk-hai Field to host 2013 All-Star Game

DEAD MARSHES - Uruk-hai fans received the official word that their stadium would play host to the 2013 All-Star Game. This did not come as a surprise, since the determination of the home park for the mid-season exhibition is set down by rule, but the certification from the League Headquarters was welcomed with cheers by the Dead Marshes faithful.

The 55,000 seat stadium is expected to be filled to capacity on July 4 when the 11th annual All-Star Game takes place. Dead Marshes, having finished with the best record in the Mordor Conference last season and not yet hosting the game, will be a little less "dead" that night, as the SGCBL stars come out for the classic struggle between the Shire and Mordor conferences. After last season's 11-inning win by the Shire, the All-Star series is even at 5 wins apiece.
