Old Forest's Chubb Sizzles in Shutout Win over Lake Town

LAKE TOWN - "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus. He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." And that's what Frodo Chubb did as he led the Merry Fellows to a shutout victory over the Archers.

"I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," the Lake Town manager said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching." Chubb rang up 12 strikeouts, gave out 0 walks, and yielded 1 base hits.

In 2013 Chubb has gone 4-1 with an ERA of 2.40 with 62 strikeouts in 56.1 innings pitched.
