Boinar Clubwalker of the Fairies Takes Shire Conference Player of the Week Trophy

Catcher Boinar Clubwalker swung a blistering bat last week for the Bucklebury Fairies, rapping out 13 hits against Bucklebury opponents to propel himself to the Shire Conference Player of the Week award.

It seemed that whenever Clubwalker hit the ball, he hit it with authority. The 25-year-old racked up a .500 batting average with 6 extra-base hits including 4 home runs, collected 6 RBI, and crossed the plate 6 times to punctuate a memorable offensive display.

Clubwalker has reached base at a .341 rate so far in 2013, robbing no stolen bases and scoring 16 runs. Clubwalker currently bats .295 with 8 home runs and 23 RBI.
