Isembard Ploughman of the Disaster Has Sensational Week, Takes Home MC Player of the Week Award

Dagorlad Disaster right fielder Isembard Ploughman walked away with the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. Ploughman batted .393, driving in 11 runs and thumping 6 extra-base hits along the way.

"The Disaster fans are really behind me right now," observed the 30-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better."

So far this year, he has hit at a .295 clip with 3 doubles, no triples, 14 home runs, walked 13 times, tallied 25 runs and plated a total of 31 baserunners. Ploughman also has swiped 0 bases and been given 13 free passes.
