Miners Third Baseman Morag *the Shriek Selected SC Player of the Week

Morag *the Shriek has been in a real groove lately. The 28-year-old Moria Miners third baseman nabbed Shire Conference Player of the Week honors today, after beating up on opposing pitchers last week.

*the Shriek's hot streak featured 9 hits--5 for extra bases--in addition to 1 walks, as she put together a .476 on base percentage and also scored 6 times.

So far this year, she has hit at a .317 clip with 3 doubles, no triples, 12 home runs, walked 10 times, tallied 22 runs and plated a total of 26 baserunners. *the Shriek also has swiped 3 bases and been given 10 free passes.
