Miracles Abound At Max's Clinic
MIDDLE EARTH - While much of the magic of this age has been lost since the War of the Ring, there are still miracles in the air. One such pocket of wonders can be found at the unassuming structure outside Rivendell known as the Miraculous Curative Clinic (MCC).
The MCC sits in a small grove of trees near the ancient elven dwellings--its location known to only a handful of individuals. Yet, since early this spring, a trail of would-be patients has been leading up to the door of the clinic. All of them wish to see the wizard known as Maximillian, hoping that they would be chosen to be seen by "Miracle Max."
The price of Max's healing powers is not cheap, but news of his results are spreading like wild fire. Already, two SGCBL players with injuries that would have kept them sitting on the sidelines for a year or more are reportedly well on their way to returning in a few weeks. Bree's team doctor, Goriaborn Elrebriril, reports that the Cheese pitcher Halleron Troublemaker had bone chips in her elbow so severe that they were worried she would never pitch effectively again. And Raymond Anülindë of Lake Town, despite his objections to the Archers paying such a high price for the cure, agrees that Ishwush the Basher would never have pitched this season without it.
Are these cures a scam? What dark powers has the MCC tapped into? MESN will keep a close watch on this developing story.
