Hops-Marauders Deal

MIRKWOOD - The Mirkwood Marauders announced a deal with Misty Mountain that would send pitcher, Tubur "Rib Cracker" Trollsnapper, to the Hops in exchange for catcher, Bagwurz "Bad Ass" Bloodaxe.

Trollsnapper, 28, is an injury-plagued, fireballing right-hander who has not had much chance in the Marauder starting rotation. Over 3 seasons, he has compiled a 27-25 record with 3 saves and a 4.77 ERA. However, last season he struck out 204 batters. Meanwhile, Bloodaxe, 30, has dealt with his own series of injuries since 2005. Despite his struggles, he was selected to the Mordor All-Star team twice and has won the Legolas Fielder Award at catcher. His career average is .290 with 91 HR and 361 RBI.
