Shire Conference Pitcher of the Month Honors Go to Musiceye of the Wargs

Lintegurth Musiceye left little doubt in the minds of Shire Conference officials that he should be named May's Pitcher of the Month. The 32-year-old tossed 51 innings of quality baseball--going 6-0 with a 1.76 ERA. He put together 6 quality starts and sat down 32 batters on strikes.

"I wasn't always confident at the start of a game," said Musiceye. "Sometimes it's hard to get into the flow--the calls aren't going your way, or you're trying to spot your pitches too much, but then you use what you've been taught all your life, and you get back to basics. It's baseball, not brain surgery."

In the current season in 12 starts, Lintegurth Musiceye has a record of 11-1 with 55 strikeouts in 96 innings and a 1.97 ERA.
