Dragons Eläril King of the Month, Gets Treated Royally by Sion, Crowned MC #1 Rookie
Meli Eläril's eyes light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Dol Guldur catcher has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. He's 18 and ready to take the Mordor Conference by storm. And that's exactly what the greenhorn did in May when he racked up a .303 batting average with 20 hits in 83 plate appearances, 3 home runs, 8 RBI, and 10 runs scored this past month. The Dragons catcher not only shook things up around baseball, but he netted the league's Rookie of the Month title in the process.
Eläril has racked up 24 hits, 10 runs batted in, and 4 homers this year, and his batting average stands at .289. He has walked 17 times and put up a .410 OBP.
