Elfprodder of Merry Fellows Hits for the Cycle Against Minas Ithil!

OLD FOREST - "How sweet it is when the sweet part of the bat makes contact with the baseball. It's music to my ears." That is how Hudash Elfprodder, the Old Forest left fielder, described what happened in June 3rd's game against the Minas Ithil Wyrms- hitting for the cycle. "I heard that sound every time I hit the ball--it really was a special game for me." It was a game good enough for him to make a little history. He bombed Minas Ithil pitching for 4 hits in 5 at-bats, and his name will now go into the record book.

H. Elfprodder hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off G. Gamialob in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

For the year Elfprodder is hitting at a .212 pace. His season stats include 5 doubles, 1 three-baggers, 7 home runs, 32 RBI, and 22 runs scored. Elfprodder has appeared in 50 games this year, stepped to the plate on 208 occasions, and delivered 40 hits.

This is the 2nd time in Elfprodder's career that he has hit for the cycle. He accomplished the feat on April 23, 2011, against Bywater. The last player to hit for the cycle was Gwogast Gorund of Minas Morgul on May 29, 2011, versus Dagorlad.
