Minas Morgul Slayers First Baseman Firbal the Nasty Dominates MC Pitching, Named Latest Player of Week

The Minas Morgul Slayers received word today that first baseman Firbal the Nasty was selected Mordor Conference Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games ending Sunday. the Nasty took full advantage of his plate appearances, putting up an OPS of 1.569 with 4 extra-base hits and 2 free passes.

He has been around the league a while now, but the Nasty still gets excited when he steps into the batter's box. And why shouldn't he? The 28-year-old first baseman is a professional ballplayer, hitting .321 so far this season with 15 home runs and 49 RBI. He also has scored 47 times, walked 25 times, stolen 9 bases, and compiled a .390 OBP.
