Fleam of the Bounders Wins Shire Conference Player of the Week
Like a battering ram, Ceonvan Fleam hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the Shire Conference Player of the Week title for that stretch.
The Bywater Bounders first baseman rapped the ball at a .417 pace with 10 hits, including 2 home runs among his 4 extra-base hits. He also chipped in 9 RBI and 3 runs to Bywater's effort.
Thus far in the 2013 season, Fleam has belted 69 hits in 228 at-bats, laced 5 doubles and 1 triple and unloaded 3 shots into the seats. His current batting average is .303, and he has produced 24 RBI and scored 25 times, while playing in 64 games.
