Shire Conference Presents Gollauman Gandilhil of Old Forest Player of the Week Trophy

There was no one hotter in the Shire Conference last week, as Gollauman Gandilhil attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance. The 30-year-old Old Forest Merry Fellows right fielder batted .560, rapping out 14 hits, including 2 doubles and 1 home run, to nab the league's Player of the Week prize.

To date, Gandilhil has accumulated 97 hits in 328 at-bats for a .296 average, and has posted an OBP of .354 for the current campaign. He has also slammed 7 home runs, walked 27 times, scored 44 runs, and driven in 41 runs.
