Elvyra *Ripsnorter of the Wargs Takes Shire Conference Player of the Week Trophy

Not every ball that came off Elvyra *Ripsnorter's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot--it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Wilderland Wargs. For her exploits, *Ripsnorter was named the recipient of the latest Shire Conference Player of the Week award.

The Wilderland shortstop treated the pitchers she faced to 10 base hits in 27 at-bats for a .370 batting average. She pushed across 6 runs and scored 4, 2 of those runs coming on his own home runs.

*Ripsnorter is hitting .304 so far this season with 49 RBI and 59 runs scored. She has 115 hits including 10 doubles, 1 triple, and 15 home runs.
