MC Names Clawfoot of the Misty Mountain Hops Player of the Week

According to the voters, Tran Clawfoot of the Misty Mountain Hops had the best week of all Mordor Conference hitters over the past seven days. He becomes the newest MC Player of the Week.

The second baseman's accomplishments in his last 7 games include 13 hits in 31 at-bats for a .419 batting average, 21 RBI, and 12 runs scored. Clawfoot clocked 7 home runs, walked 2 times, and had a .441 on base percentage.

Clawfoot has established himself as a solid ballplayer. His numbers are legitimate Tolkien Baseball numbers, and they've gotten him a role on a SGCBL club. But then, most clubs would take a guy hitting .292 with 108 hits, 22 home runs, 91 runs batted in, and an OBP of .330, wouldn't they?
