Lothlorien Center Fielder Grumpus *the Grumpest Snaps up MC Player of the Week Honors

Lothlorien Lumberjacks center fielder Grumpus *the Grumpest walked away with the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. *the Grumpest batted .500, driving in 4 runs and thumping 3 extra-base hits along the way.

"The Lumberjacks fans are really behind me right now," observed the 28-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better."

So far this year *the Grumpest is batting .281 with a .361 on base percentage. He has scored 47 times, ripped 95 hits, driven in 49 runs, doubled 11 times, and clouted 15 homers.
