Pacing the Wilderland Attack, Shortstop *Ripsnorter Takes SC Batter of the Month Honors

Wilderland shortstop Elvyra *Ripsnorter put the wraps on a remarkable July by capturing the Shire Conference Batter of the Month honors. She rapped out a .361 batting average, hit 5 home runs, drove in 16 runs, and scored 22 times. *Ripsnorter drilled 6 extra-base hits and put up a .451 on base percentage.

The 25-year-old *Ripsnorter is batting at a .310 pace in 2013, picking up 135 hits in 436 at-bats. She has also run up these totals: .355 OBP, 54 RBI, 71 runs scored, 16 homers, and 104 strikeouts.
