Carrock defeats Devils in 30-1 romp!

CARROCK - The Carrock Bears put on a fireworks display at Old League Park on August 27, pounding out 36 hits and scoring 30 runs, including 13 in the 5th inning. Every Bear starter had at least one hit, and 3 of them enter the record books with 6+ hit performances--the first time since July of last season that anyone has accomplished the feat and only the 11th, 12th and 13th times it has ever been done!

It was a sensational day at the plate for Srunk Mandragger. The Carrock first baseman was pure misery for the Dunharrow pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 7 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. He becomes the only player in league history to have 7 hits in a game.

Grotluk the Ugly put on a hitting clinic today. The Carrock shortstop sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Dunharrow pitching for 6 hits in 7 at-bats. And Durin Brickfoot was on fire today, going 6 for 6 against Dunharrow.
