Second Baseman Rider Launches Assault on SC Pitchers, Cops Batter of the Month Honors

Trik Rider has been bludgeoning the baseball with frightening regularity over the past month, claiming the Shire Conference Batter of the Month trophy for August. The Carrock second baseman hit .377, blasted 3 home runs and 7 doubles, drove in 14 runs and scored 24 times to win the award.

Thus far this year, the 28-year-old second baseman has a .309 batting average with a .370 on base percentage. Rider has cracked 163 hits including 17 home runs, scored 84 times, and banged in 68 runs as well.
