Plant of Weathertop Given August's MC Pitcher of the Month Award

Last month's cream of the crop was Robert Plant of the Weathertop Witch Kings. He captured the Mordor Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his mound performance in August. Plant started 7 games, threw 50 innings, and logged a 5-2 record. He put down 44 batters on strikeouts, walked 15, and compiled a 3.06 ERA. Enemy batters hit .235 against him.

So far this year Plant has made 27 starts, tossed 195.2 innings, struck out 166 batters, and walked 62. His record is 8-12 with a 2.99 ERA. He has limited opposing batters to a .230 BA.
