Brickfoot of Bears Hammers SC Hurlers for .563 Average--Wins Player of the Week Honors

One of the league's most exciting young players, Durin Brickfoot earned himself SC Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in the week's games ending Sunday. The 24-year-old Carrock Bears left fielder contributed a .563 average to his club's effort, accounting for 10 runs batted in and drilling no extra-base hits that enabled him to boast a 1.151 OPS for the week.

A relative newcomer to the league, Brickfoot is batting .320 with 10 home runs and 71 RBI so far this season. He has walked 49 times, scored 55 runs, and put up a .379 on base percentage.
