Bree Shut down and Shut out by Gamialf

LAKE TOWN - Geadriel Gamialf was sneaky fast, on the mark, and hard to hit on September 12. He blanked the Bree Cheese on 1 hit while walking 4 and striking out 5. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Bree skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Lake Town Archers. "He just had a real deceiving fastball today he was throwing for strikes."

Gamialf has been handed the ball for 29 starts this season, registering 9 wins and 13 losses. The 37-year-old Gamialf has rung up 128 strikeouts and 76 bases on balls in 187.2 innings with a 3.93 ERA. Opponents have hit .244 against him.
